Arizona Traditions is a gated community of 1768 homes about seven miles west of Sun City in the northwest metro Phoenix area. The division started construction in 1997 and built the last home in 2013. It is located about 34 miles from downtown Phoenix and 39 miles from Sky Harbor Airport.

The par-70, parkland style, 18-hole Arizona Traditions Golf Course attracts many to this 55+ neighborhood. Residents pay about 35% less than public rates. AT also offers tennis courts, pickle ball courts, bocce ball courts, three swimming pools and a softball field available for active retirees.
Arizona Traditions has a large community center with a sizable fitness center and library with areas for woodworking, stained glass, ceramics and pottery, sewing and quilting. Two neighborhood centers with kitchens provide additional meeting areas. A popular sports bar offers billiards, shuffleboard and a patio firepit. Walking trails with exercise stations wind the community.
